Directors Penella Rutherford and Victoria Armstrong created Viper Performance Company in 2006.

Both of the company’s directors are professional choreographers, performers and dancers. They met while studying at Northumbria University where they created a strong friendship and realised they had very similar goals......to create a unique performance company within the north east.

Viper’s theatrical work is inspired by a whole range of sources including stories, fables, music and painting, infused with a hint of magic and visual effects to make inspiring performances.

Viper work within the corporate sector enhancing social functions and product launches. They add the glitter to special and annual occasions making, beautiful, memorable events full of fantastic opportunities for great photos to remember the day.

Education and community

Viper provides entertainment for parties, proms and events. They also work within education offering a wide range of creative workshops, dance classes and performances designed specifically for children.

ViperArts offer an extensive range of event packages. We will take all worries of your hands from staging and PA to performances  advertising and promotions.
As our website shows we have experience in all types of events from International Dance events to charity concerts.
We work for councils and corporate management to private celebrations and family fun days.
