The Mix Up!

The Mix Up! is a completely original piece of choreography and is a fantastic way to introduce children of all ages to dance, performance and a creative, fun way of exercising. The Mix Up! is a 30 minute dance show, performed by four amazing pro dancers, that incorporates a wide variety of different dance styles from around the globe including:

• Street dance from America

• Belly dance from Egypt

• Salsa from Latin America

• Poi spinning from New Zealand

• Break dance from America

• Martial arts from Asia

• Contemporary, a world wide movement language

After the performance Viper Performance Company’s fantastic professional dancers will teach workshops in break dance, salsa and street dance to the audience, (or any of the other dance genres from the show if you prefer) giving the children a chance to learn some cool new moves, get some exercise and work together to put on a small performance at the end of the day, which, as well as being a lot of fun is proven to be a great aid in building confidence and finding autonomy.
